Lego Set Review: Millennium Falcon
The new Starwars film the Force Awakens launched tons of new Lego sets including the New, well old technically, Millennium Falcon set. Which is a new set but features the Millennium Falcon aged and weathered.
The set was very time consuming as it has so many details and moving parts.
It was built over a week.
The week it took to build was so worth it! The set comes with the following items.
Mini-figures:
Han Solo
Chewbacca
Rey
Finn
Tasu Leech
Kanijklub Gang Member
BB-8
Accessory Pieces:
Crossbow
Wrench
Musket
Black Blaster 2x
Grey Blaster 1x
Game Board 1x
Game Table & Chairs
Control Console
Red Missile x1
Blaster Turret 2x
Other:
Millennium Falcon
All together the set has 1329 pieces.
The mini figures have dual faces and are battle ready.*
There are our new generation heroes Rey and Finn.
We have our favorite duo Chewy and Han Solo, who is aged appropriately for this figure, he has a very different look from his younger self.*
These two are a part of a pirate crew.
BB-8 is tiny and adorable. Though he cannot take the place that R2-D2 holds in our hearts.*
Let's take a look at the ship.
There are many flaps that open and close to show the inside of the ship. They are very fragile.
Finn is at one of the control consoles.
Chewy and Han play space Chess.
There are scaffolding for the characters to walk across.
Or roll in BB-8's case.
Rey inspecting the power supply.
Han can relax and take a nap.
There is also a hidden compartment for smuggling, bounty or people.
"It's true. All of it. The Dark Side, the Jedi."
Rey wants to take a turn flying.
The dome removes for easy access.
The top has a gun turret.
The back has blue pieces for the hyper drive glow.
The underside also has a gun turret as well.
For a rating I give this set 5 out of 5 bricks, it is exactly what you would expect from a Millennium Falcon reboot and a must have for your Lego collection.
*Han Solo time paradox.
*Battling Kylo Ren.
*Old andnew droid friends.
