Brick Palooza 2017

Today was Brick Palooza, a Lego show in Santa Rosa, CA!

The 2nd annual Lego festival ran from 8am until 6pm and it was packed with family fun.

Lego fans lined up early as VIP admission was 8am, and general started at 9.

VIPs received a free gift, and of course early access to all the fun with less of a crowd.

They also had access to a VIP lounge full of drinks, snacks and quiet.

The main show room had dozens of vendors with more Lego sets and Minifigures than you could ever count.

Also there were mountains of bulk Lego and hats, tees, bags, jewelry, Lego displays and more.

And everything was awesome with characters to take pictures with.

Like Emmet from The Lego Movie.

And characters from Star Wars.

Even Marvel & Halo characters got in on the fun.

And then Santa arrived!

The kids and the adults (myself included) got a lot of laughs from Santa hanging out with all of the characters, even when it got a little weird.

No Lego festival would be complete without MOC's (my own creation), and Brick Palooza did not disappoint.

The sizes ranged from big to REALLY big.

With everything from full city scenes to castles with entire villages.

Brick Palooza also had separate small Lego events going on in their side rooms.

There was a creative free build room.

There was a room where people came together to design and build a giant castle.

There was a room to code and build your own moving robot.

And there was a mini movie theater.

If you missed this year don't worry they will be back again next year, just follow Brick Palooza's Facebook page for updates!

A special thanks to Caleb Raff owner of The Brick Hutt and creator of Brick Palooza for inviting me to photograph this event, I can't wait for next year!
